Rise and shine @ 6:15 Gym at 7am.
Took my car into my old shop , Central Service for oil change a quick inspection , getting prepared for my journey back to the west coast next week. When I lived here 18 years ago, I took my first car a 95 Ford Taurus to that shop. The Ford died December of 2015. The vehicle I have now is only my second car in my life! ( fun fact lol)
Picked up the car and headed to Helen's Delicatessen. My mother used to pick up a ham on a bun for me when I took my lunch to school, which was only when I had gymnastics.( fun fact lol) I grabbed lunch which consisted of sandwich buns and potato and macaroni salad. ( the recipe hasn't changed in 40 years!)
Took the sandwichs and salads over to Jen A's house for an outside visit with 2 of my dearest friends❤ Friends for 43 years and 36 years.
Just like Jen S, we pick up exactly where we leave off. Wend, Jen and I spent a couple hour talking , sitting in the sunshine enjoying a beautiful day!
Dad wasn't up for a visit today so I headed back up to Thorold to see my cousin Sherry❤ and Her husband Rob, who's schedule for work is
Sunday Monday, Sunday Monday, Monday Sunday, Monday Sunday! LOL I HOPE I GOT THAT RIGHT ROB!
I was also able to see my Cousin Dawn, her husband James and finally meet their beautiful children, Samantha and Adam❤ And of course my Uncle Cliff and Aunt Linda( who let me get another photo, Thank you Aunt Linda❤) We laughed and reminised about dinners at Grandma and Grandpas❤
Compared notes with my cousins on how our mothers overcooked everything! LOL Great Visit!
Dinner was at Cats Caboose with another dear friend Rosanne❤ and her wonderful partner Nick❤ Another 36 year friendship! Great to see you both!
Off to Derrick and Laurie's for game night with Tyler and Hailey!
My gosh keeping those 2 focused on the games was PAINFUL! LOL❤❤ We played for almost 4 hours and managed to only get through one game of Yatzee and 10 hands of Wizard when we had to call it a night! Again lots of laughs in between the reigning back in!
